Plant Diary 3

After a month from the date that i planted it, my slow-growing Genovese Basil has grows into this. My coriander are doing fine, guess some of them do need some more sun-ray. My Chinese parsley are kind of in recovery of my negligence last few weeks back, that probably why they are growing slow.

How will my Genevase Basil looks like in another month time??

懵懂

有的时候， 会懵懵懂懂的犯下一些错误，有时候， 会懵懵懂懂的掉入了陷阱。虽然听起来好像很糟糕， 但是总在不经意间， 会有在周围的人， 无论是朋友，亲人甚至是外人，会在需要的时候给予提点， 问题就在于抱握着那机会， 然后化险为夷。 很多时候有很多的埋怨， 但是总在难题的最后时分， 顺利的过关， 也因为这样， 我心存感激。感谢他们的一句话， 提点了我很多， 感谢他们的态度， 让我也学习了很多。

你是不是也一样会不经意间陷入问题， 但到后来却也逢凶化吉？如果是的话， 那就心存感激吧， 没有必要把重重的包袱硬硬的往自己身上压。

Baby Nephew 2

Series of photos of my baby nephew, Lucas. Taken while he was waiting for his yummy yummy baby food after long sleep in the IKEA baby chair, the one that voted in the internet for MUST BUY baby's item in IKEA. He was in super good mood and was playing the toy vegie "Leek" that i bought from IKEA few months back in his hands. When he want to put the toy into his mouth, i even said "don't eat that, that's vegie" which causes some laugh as my mum said, why is it that he cannot eat the vegie.

My new different kind of pet, just joined the family as the third member, Genovese Basil

My second member to the family, Chinese Parsley that almost died of drought last week.

My first member to my herbs family, Coriander/Cilantro. Some of them are more than 15cm now.

白日梦？

今天傍晚，突然间有个奇怪的想法，突然好像在几年后， 自己的经济比较稳定的时候， 自己又或是和好朋友合资在这里或是别的国家如泰国，菲律宾，法国（郊区的价钱不高）， 甚至在保加利亚（有这个念头是应为知道那里郊区的房地产便宜）， 买个海边的小屋， 或是在湖边， 半山腰，还是比较接近乡村或大自然的地方买个小地方， 可以是一间小屋， 也可以是一片空地， 然后自己在那里建一个可以逃离城市压力的天地， 虽然我个人比较偏爱海边， 但是郊区和湖畔我也很喜欢。而当我们想要简单的生活的时候， 就到那个地方去， 过过简单， 纯朴， 没有工作和其他压力的日子， 也可以和好朋友聚集在那里。 平时不去那里的时候， 可以把他出租给其他的人。 一个小地方，有个小阳台或是前院， 可以在那里看看书， 看看花草， 听听音乐， 夜里看看星星， 自己也可以弄点简单的东西在那里一边品尝， 一边享受这种简单的生活。 你是否已经和我一样看到了这个悠闲逍遥的画面？

我相信， 每当遇上难题， 有工作压力的时候， 大家都会友想要拥有这个可以暂时忘却烦恼的地方。这是不是一个可行的计划？ 还是只是我的一个白日梦？ 一个因为连续在压力轰炸下珩生出来的奇怪念头？

Vanilla

Vanilla

Bought some vanilla pods from spice garden, the sweet aroma of it is fascinating. It is said to be the third most expensive spices in the world. Still thinking on where to use it on, coffee perhaps?? I think, most probably on coffee. I saw an article on the internet saying that after using all the vanilla seeds, you may dried the pod and put it into your sugar jar, so that you will have this sweet aroma to your sugar. Interesting isn't it. I can't wait to try but am recently tied up pretty badly to my work. Struggling hard to keep my focus on track and let everything on schedule. Other than my main task, there are still some other task waiting for me to do an update and etc. I am working slower than i used to be.....Maybe because i turned older.

I can now feel the stress up to my throat. Argh........

Outside of classroom

Carried out an outdoor exposure for my 2 students today. Who knows learning the name of vegetables and fruits can be fun too. They enjoyed it quite a lot, and so did i. Free and casual way of teaching feels really good. Should do this outside of classroom teaching more often.
