Something new

Moving forward to a new life, a life that temporary out of a lot of things including internet. No internet access for social website is still acceptable for week, but when you need the internet access with your studies or others, i am so so realize the importance of internet in our life.

Applied for new internet service today and will probably re-connect again in year 2011.

Bicara Persada Kencana + Malam Persada Kencana 2010



10 Dec 2010 was an eventful day. Started my day with Bicara Persada Kencana, the first event in conjunction with the Malam Persada Kencana, aka Golden Pavillion Night.

Two speakers were invited for the talk on Bicara Persada Kencana. It was an event that compulsory to all USM fellowship holder and GA holder. I was there to help out with the registration. The talk ended around 12 noon and followed by makan-makan.

The night, it was the Malam Persada Kencana(MPK) 2010. The theme for this year is To Dream a Dream. All student ambassadors were invited to the dinner. Some of the student ambassadors were even involve in the dance performance. Attire was formal and in black/white/gold/silver colours for this year.

Malam Persada Kencana is a climactic event that recognizes and honors outstanding academic achievements especially in research and publication of postgraduate students at USM through the presentation of the Persada Kencana Award.

The dance performance by four of our SA friends were great. Food was okay but i have to admit that the portion was really small.

[Food]Cappuccino-The Making

This article is specially dedicated to a friend that requested it-JF.

2 main gadget that you need to prepare a cappuccino. The one on the left is French Coffee Press, price range is between RM50-RM100 for the size of 4C. 4C is the size to serve for 1-2 persons. On the right is the gadget that i used to make milk froth. It's from IKEA, cost me around RM10, it's indeed another reason why i love IKEA so much.

Actually, to made the milk froth, even bu using the French Coffee Press is already enough. The only problem is that will be a bit messy and not so effective.


With these 2 smart gadget, the ingredients that you need to make a quality home-made cappuccino will be the coffee ground, milk, sugar for flavors.

First, boil some water. Rinse your coffee cup and the French Coffee Press with the hot water. Then, scope 2 large spoon of ground coffee into your French Coffee Press, pour in the hot water until 2/3 full. Cover it with the press but leave it there without pressing down the presser. Let it settle for 10-15 minutes then only press the presser down. Settling time varies depend on how strong you want your coffee to be.

In the mean time, warm some milk. You may warm it by heating it with frying pan, or just pour some milk into a cup and microwaved it for 40 seconds max. Do not boil it. Fresh milk is recommended to be used here.

Then, you may use the cappuccino milk froth maker and start to froth the milk. The best way is to tilt you cup a little and move the froth maker from the bottom of the cup to the top. 15-20 seconds will already do the magic. Then, gently hit the bottom of your cup that filled with the milk forth to your counter top to break all the big bubbles that on the surface of the milk froth.

Next, it's time to pour out your freshly pressed coffee into a warm coffee cup, scope the milk froth or you may just pour it gently into your coffee. Voila!!!


For extra flavors, you may use a dried Cinnamon stick as the coffee stirrer, it will give you something unexpectedly soothing. Sugar may be added to the freshly pressed coffee if you are not a fans of sugarless coffee.

Finally, i got the keys. 17 in total, and i went to open the letter box that full of advertising brochures. Asked the people in charge to fused the electrical box. It's officially can be used now.

Blah Blah Blah (1)

Wrote something here on those that were tangling in my mind for these few days.

I talked to some people around me and i realized that something i never knew about. It waken my mind and made me think more than before.

Feeling grateful with some people that happen to be around me when i need someone for something. Relationship between one human and another will always come in handy when you are in problem. We can never live alone.

Never understand how some people can live in their very own world without looking into our real world. They are kind of having shallow mind if you asked me.
